Trips
We kept Valkyrie on a fresh water lake the first year, she was kept on the trailer that winter, and then went to Pwllheli where she stayed until we moved her to Abersoch.
We have had lots of weekends sailing in Tremadog Bay - usually at least one night on board either at anchor or in such places as Barmouth/Porthmadog/Pwllheli.
We sailed as far as Cardigan and back on a 2 week trip. Last year we went around to Anglesey and visited Nefyn, Caernafon and Trearddur.
We've sailed over to Bardsey twice this year and anchored in the bay there.
The mooring is paid up until the end of the season at Abersoch (£75 for the summer season). If you're interested in wild life the Tudwal Islands, Bardsey and the island off Aberdaron with the puffins are all within a day sail! Dolphins are resident off Abersoch and we've seen them countless times!
